Indie’s life was in danger the moment it begun
As Indie was born, it was clear that she had a serious brain condition – with potentially devastating complications.
Baby Indie needed treatment that wasn’t available at the local hospital in Nelson, where she was born. It could only be done in Wellington.
Time was running out and the fastest option – the only option – was Life Flight. Today, you can make sure New Zealanders like Indie get the lifesaving help they need – by giving a gift.
We recently purchased three King Air B200Cs. These aircraft are all about flying safer, faster and further.
- Improving patient safety, with a range of cutting-edge features
- Saving time, flying at higher altitudes above weather systems
- Expanding our reach, by enabling us to land at remote airports
The King Airs are supercharging our mission to ensure the same high level of aeromedical care is available across the country. But to continue renewing our fleet, we urgently need your support.
Please will you give a donation today, so our aircraft are safer, faster and able to reach more New Zealanders than ever before?
Thankfully Life Flight was able to transfer Indie to Wellington in just 27 minutes. She was saved from a permanent brain injury and she’s just turned one – happy and healthy.
But in our rugged country, there will always be more New Zealanders needing to make the same journey as Indie – rushed far away to a major hospital, for lifesaving treatment.
Please donate today and help us take to the skies to reach more New Zealanders like Indie.
