Gift in wills

Frequently asked questions

  • Do I need to tell Life Flight that I have left a Gift in my Will?

It would be helpful if you tell us about your intentions to leave a gift in your Will. Telling us simply means we can recognize your kindness and thank you personally for your generosity. Any details that you make available to us are treated with the strictest confidence. It is not binding, and you can still change your mind at any time.

  • If I tell you I have left a gift in my Will, what will happen?

We would love the opportunity to meet you, share our vision, keep you updated on our work, and communicate with you in a way that best suits you. If you would prefer to support us quietly, we will of course respect your wishes.

  • Should I tell my family?

There is no requirement to involve your family in any decision you make concerning your Will. However, we recommend you do.

  • What if I want my gift to go to a specific initiative or purpose?

By keeping your gift nonspecific, we would direct it to the area of greatest need at the time we receive it. However, if you would like to discuss a specific initiative or purpose, please contact us and we can help you with this.

  • How will my gift be recognized?

We would love to talk with you about how your gift can be honoured and recognized. Some like to include their family in this, as well.
