Wellington Based Westpac Transports a Patient from Kapiti Island

The Wellington Based Westpac Rescue Helicopter transported a medical Patient from Kapiti Island this Afternoon the 10th Dec 10 at 2:30pm.
The Helicopter responded to the North End of Kapiti Island with a Wellington Free Ambulance Paramedic onboard.
The patient was a 71yr old male who lives on the Island. He was suffering from a Medical condition.
He was flown to Wellington Hospital where he is being assessed and treated for his condition.
