Wellington Based Westpac Transports a Burns Patient from Paraparaumu

The Wellington Based Westpac Rescue Helicopter transported a 2yr old female from Paraparaumu last night the 20th June 10 at 9pm.

The Helicopter with a Wellington Free Ambulance Paramedic onboard landed at Paraparaumu Airport where the girl was being transported by Ambulance.

The girl had suffered burns to her chest after knocking a hot bowl of soup onto herself.

The patient was then flown to the Helicopter Landing Pad at Avalon Studios and then transported to Hutt Hospital via Ambulance.

The Patient is being assessed and treated for her injuries.
