Wellington Based Westpac Rescue Helicopter Transports a Person with Heat Stroke from Paraparaumu

The Wellington Based Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to Paraparaumu Airport at approximately 4:30pm this afternoon 20th Jan 10 to a 76yr old male from Paraparaumu who was suffering from heat stroke.

The Helicopter with a Wellington Free Ambulance Paramedic on board responded to Paraparaumu Airport. 

A Wellington Free Ambulance transported the man to the Paraparaumu Airport where the Helicopter landed. 

The man was transported to Wellington Hospital Emergency Department where he is being treated and assessed for his condition.
