Wellington Based Westpac Rescue Helicopter Transports a Overdose Patient from Paraparaumu

The Wellington Based
Westpac Rescue Helicopter transported a 20yr old female from Paraparaumu who had
overdosed on Prescription Medications today at 3:30pm 24 Feb 10.
The Helicopter
responded with Two Wellington Free Ambulance Paramedics onboard.
The Helicopter
landed at Paraparaumu Airport where the patient had been transported by
Wellington Free Ambulance.
The patient was then
flown to Wellington Hospital Emergency Department where she is being assessed
and treated.
