The Life Flight Trust transports a Patient from Moonshine Valley Rd Upper Hutt

At 1300 this Afternoon the Life Flight Trust responded to Bulls Run Rd in Moonshine Valley Rd to an 20yr old female who had fallen off her motocross bike.
Life Flight responded with two Wellington Free Paramedics on board the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
The Helicopter was able to land in a paddock next to the patient.
The patient who had been riding her motorbike in the paddock when she crashed. On arrival of the helicopter, the patient was being looked after by other motocross riders.
The Patient was suffering from neck and back injures.
The patient was flown to Wellington Hospital Emergency Department where she is being treated for her injuries.
The Life Flight Trust is a charity providing air rescue and air ambulance services. It operates the Wellington based Westpac Rescue Helicopter and a national air ambulance service.
