Join us to say farewell and good luck to the All Whites

Media Release
6 May 2010

Guests at an exclusive Footballers Farewell event sponsored by Air New Zealand will get a chance to take on All Whites Tim Brown and Ben Sigmund in a question and answer ‘grilling session' hosted by sports journalist Daniel McHardy.

The event celebrates Tim and Ben's departure for the 2010 Football World Cup and will be held at the Life Flight air rescue base in Wellington on 17 May.

This is an opportunity to meet coach extraordinaire Ricki Herbert, stars from the All Whites and Phoenix, plus other sporting celebrities. You can even challenge them to a game of foosball!

Tim Brown has kindly donated his signed jersey from the All Whites Bahrain match to be auctioned on Trade Me for the Life Flight Trust, with the auction closing live at the end of the evening.

Tickets are strictly limited and will be hotly contested. Thanks to the generous support of event sponsor Air New Zealand, all ticket and auction proceeds go to the Life Flight Trust to help save lives.

Life Flight is the charity operator of a national air ambulance service and the Wellington Westpac Rescue Helicopter.

Tim and Ben also play for the Wellington Phoenix and are ambassadors of Life Flight.
