	KAYAK COOK STRAIT: January Blenheim lads Scott Hantz and Josh Mackay are going to kayak across the Cook Strait to raise money for The Life Flight Trust. With support from sponsors and donors, the paddle will be one to remember and one to benefit their chosen charity and the New Zealanders it helps. Follow their journey here.
	EAT, DRINK AND BE CRAFTY: 28 Jan, Pauatahanui It's back, and it's better than ever. The organizing committee have made some adjustments to improve parking and traffic, and added a bunch more food stalls to make this a family outing to remember! Find out more.
	WAIKANAE LIONS GARDEN TRAIL: 28-29 Jan Experience Waikanae’s most stunning gardens. This will be just as enjoyable as last year. Fourteen stunning gardens will be on display on the weekend following Wellington Anniversary Day to avoid the congestion of holiday traffic. Tickets – adults $15 and children free. Find out more.
	THE WELLINGTON TRUCK SHOW: 5 Feb An extravaganza of all things trucking, with something for the whole family: Over 100 trucks on show, helicopter rides, food coffee and ice-cream, truck rides, truck demonstrations and competitions. At Trentham Memorial Park Upper Hutt. Find out more.
	WELLINGTON ROUND THE BAYS: 26 Feb At Life Flight everyday is a race. In medical emergencies the time saved by flying could save your life. Now we want you to join us in the race, by running or walking with us in Round the Bays Wellington. If you are interested in joining the Life Flight Team for the 22km or 7km’s please email hanna@lifeflight.org.nz.
	MARLBOROUGH SOUNDS DISCOVERY CRUISE: 11 Mar The Rotary Club of Wellington North invites you to join their unique charity cruise abroad the Interislander's Arahura for a return sailing cruising around Wellington Heads, Pelorus Sound, and D’urville Island. Enjoy a fantastic day out with stunning scenery and wonderful on board entertainment and activities.
